The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

I've been asked a few times what their names are so i decided to give you a little info on them...

The short hair girl is called Romy and the long hair girl is called James. Yes i know James is a boys name 2 some ppl but i wanted to give one of them a unisex/males name! its more fun that way! :) she is a female with a guys name! big deal. ;P

They are roommates, both have graduated but still share their student house.

Neither of them are based on me or anyone i know, they are just my imagination and humor rolled into two of my characters. Romy i have drawn in the past in my sketchbooks but James is relatively new.

The Comic's name is of course 'Lashes' seeing as that is what everyone always remembers about my art. ;)

I LOVE lashes! Just stumbled upon it now . . . it's so funny! It's exactly my kind of humor, so I can really relate. I feel like it kind of depicts my life in a way because I also like cats and Harry Potter and have the same kind of humor. :P You should have a website for this or something, it's awesome! :D
