Thought it was about time i wrote a new journal, don't have too much to update on.
Been crazy busy (as always) working and stuff. Have loads of new ideas for art pieces , just need to time to make them!!!! Drawing all day in work and then freelance doesn't leave much time for personal projects and normal life. (sad face)

I love friday the 13th! They seldom come by and ppl always fret something bad will happen. I was born on the 13 and have had some great birthdays on that day so to me its lucky!

DA deleted my disney princess pin up illustration. The pic did not adhere to their terms and policy apparently. I would have happily removed the characters they deemed inappropriate if they had asked me first, rather than deleting it completely b4 id even had a chance to change the pic or thank everyone for the faves and comments.

BTW if you type in disney pin ups or snow white or even just disney you can find a hell of a lot of similar type pics on DA (same characters as i drew!), these are still up tho... I guess DA just has it in or me. Plus there are even popular artist who have posted such images and theirs remain as well. Whats up with that?!!!

Shall I collect every pic on DA that has disney characters in skimpy outfits and post them here just to make a point!!

Been ages since my last update, havent been on DA for a while and my comments and notes have piled up.
Everthing had to be put on hold cos ive been super busy. Im back now tho and will try and give more attention to DA!! Oh ive missed it.

I'll start with the bad cos its better to end on a high.
Well we finally finished moving all our stuff into the new house, twas a hectic few days! So glad its over now.
First day parking outside our new house we get a £120 fine, £60 if we pay in the next 14 days!! Needed a permit thing apparently... to park outside our own house!
Next day we get a temporary permit from the council to cover us until the 17th... day after BAM another fine!! This time for £80, or £40 if we pay in the next 14 days. Went to the council and they gave us a proper permit this time. They said we can appeal the fine but the final decision is with the parking ppl! Even though its clearly their fault for giving us the wrong permit!!
I AINT PAYING IT FULL STOP! With all the costs of moving and Christmas OmFG like!!!

On a happier note, the house is looking better now we have wallpapered and given it a well needed lick of paint. We still haven't unpacked everything though. My computer is going to be the next thing I set up, atm im using *WesleyRiot laptop with his mobile phone internet thing. (clever thing!) Once I am set up I shall crack on with my commissions and should be able to upload them. We are getting tv, phone line and internet set up from the 19th to the 30th. Cant wait!! Have missed all my soaps!!!

Even better news... I'm starting a new full time job in Jan, hence the big move to London again. I went to meet up with the design teem yesterday, so many really talented creative individuals. They were really friendly and so I cant wait to start come January.
Im going to miss not being with my babies full time but its for them in the long run, I want to start saving for their future. Look at me being all grown up! LOL
I'll keep you guys updated on my adventures... I have to go right now as Hadley (who is sitting on my lap as I type this) just threw up milk all over my sleeve and himself!!! How lovely.

It was so hard to chose between all of them, everyone did such a great job! I was blown away by the number of entries, hence the reason I took so long to judge the contest.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments and well wishes! Also we finally decided on a name for the baby, Hadley Darwin Ashley Collins!

As you may have guessed from my latest deviation... My baby has arrived! A healthy 8 pound 1 ounce baby Boy born at 10:48pm on the 19th of sept! He is a real delight.
He looks just like his big brother Milo who is turning 2years old this Sat! Its been one busy week!! Im sooooo tired!
